Chateau Moulin Favre

Located at the top of the " Combiaty" hillside, the Domain represents the sixth generation of a family heritage, where the passion for the vines' growing remains from father to son. The sound, the South/South-Eastern exposure of their vines worked in sustainable agriculture, as well as their age, allows the grape-variety, the GAMAY, to express its diversity in each wine produced at the estate.

Association between tradition and brand new techniques
Our vines are benefiting from sustainable agriculture management methods.
Vines are 100% handpicked. For 2 weeks of harvest, about 30 harvesters are picking one hectare per day.

The whole stalks are taken off to avoid any herbaceous flavors and enhance rounded tannins.
Long macerations ( 12-13 days) before a soft press develops complex aromas,  nice colors and soft tannins.

All our wines are bottled at the estate. The screw-cap is used for the export.
All their wines, from a fruity Beaujolais or Brouilly to a spicy Morgon, will bring you on the paths of their vineyard and will make you discover the family know-how.  Everything is bottled Vieilles Vignes, from Beaujolais Villages to the Crus of Chiroubles, Brouilly and Morgon with vines ranging from 60 to 80 years old.
