HG Wine & Spirits Merchants LLC was founded by David G. Eber, a veteran distributor executive with more than 20 years of sales and management experience in the wine and spirits business.
Here is our Mission Statement:
HG’s primary objective is to provide proven sales execution strategies and tactics
that generate high levels of attention and repeat sales
from our on- and off-premise customers and supplier partners.
Based in New York City, the HG Wine & Spirits Team provides its international and US supplier partners with unrivalled levels of service in dealing with each supplier’s local distributor senior managements and sales forces. This single-minded focus leads to impressive sales growth, brand awareness and top-line attention at the distributor tier for HG’s supplier partners.

So, in addition to creating and executing strategic and tactical sales and incentive programs for its clients with HG’s group of leading wine and spirits distributors in New York, Connecticut and New Jersey, the HG Team also regularly calls on and sells to top wine and spirits retailers in the tri-state area as well as upstate New York.
HG’s record of building, nurturing and growing great brands is something David Eber is extremely proud of, having previously helped launch and promote during his career Belvedere, Chopin and Svedka vodka brands, Hypnotiq Liqueur, Mionetto Prosecco, Ron Zacapa, Vendange California varietal wine line and Cuvelier Los Andes premium estate-bottled wines from Argentina, among others, at Eber Bros. Wine & Spirits, where he served as Vice President, and, later, at Southern Wine & Spirits of New York, where he served in a senior management position and which is a division of Southern Wine & Spirits of America, the country’s largest wine and spirits distributor and is a graduate of the University of Houston. David has also worked at Hilton Hotels and is a graduate of University of Houston. David lives in New York City with his two children.
